Autismo me used to love level ups and numbers in games when I was younger but the truth is that they only exist to periodically humble the player, force them to stop, grind, and then continue without actually improving their skill in any way. Nice, you have better stats now relative to the enemies/boss so you can advance and all it took was a pointless time sink... and you paid for that.
