I had PuTTY fail me in a way that has me evaluating other terminal emulators on Windows.
It seems as if (the version of) PuTTY (installed on the system that I’m working with) doesn’t support Operating System Command (OSC) 11 control sequence used to set the background color.
I’m starting to use OSC-11 to colorize the terminal based on the production status of the system that I’m logged into.
This means dynamically changing the terminal emulators background color as I change systems in the same terminal emulator window.
