Did I slip in from a parallel universe somehow?
I wrote a 2k word post advocating for a bridge between Bluesky and Mastodon before most people had any notion of it, so you can't reasonably claim I'm against it if my comments are somehow bundled up in the bizarre and counterfactual "Mastodon Users Against Bridging Brigade" narrative that's forming.

No. Literally no one I've seen is against it. Everyone here loves the open web! That's why many of us are here despite all the annoying parts. We just hate when yet another dude comes in telling us we'll just have to opt out--with some crap in our bios instead of our explicit settings!--of their Important Fediverse Project and we get called scolds and misrepresented for taking issue with it as presented.
If our very fair and reasonable understanding was wrong, the problem is not with our understanding. It's with the initial presentation and the long thread where the dev showed his whole ass. #Bluesky #ActivityPub #Bridgy
