I have experience running mail servers and configuring DMARC/DKIM etc., as well as dealing with Spamhaus. I have eventually managed to get Google to accept my email, but Microsoft still complains. If you have references on how to register the mail server on their website I’d definitely make my life easier and avoid having to use an external relay.
