Sudden peal of #thunder and quick onset downpour in #WashingtonDC awoke me with a start. I’m fortunate to only have imagined fears from loud noises. Sending strength to those awoken with worse memories of sounds like these. Even without lived experience, this clap of thunder was bad enough.
