Consider it as triangle tube. So, it is not solid steel, but like 2,5 cm (one inch) steel blades. Regardless pretty impressive, but low distance though. Like 1000 meters you can have any practical tactical benefit. With 300 meters you can shoot any anti-tank missile instead.
To get it to the tank thickness it has to cut 10x deeper.
