Jewish diaspora was a perfect example of decentralization, around 2k years in that situation, they survived without land or army and even being persecuted in every generation, now they return to their ancestral land written in Bible. We can disagree with Israeli politics but that thing is like a miracle, maybe it is after all. The lesson here is probably to never give up
