It’s a #year to the day since I joined mastodon.scot. Some musings; at first the was a great deal of attention on keeping #mastodon different from #Twitter & I leaned hard into that. It has eased now, but my tolerance for poor behaviour on social media has decreased not increased. There is no #SocialMedia platform that is so good I won’t ever need to #block, so sensitive that everyone will use #CW as I would wish, so warm that every toot would get positive & thoughtful replies. But here I am. 👋
