I’m totally not against brand-building. He’s running a business. Judge him as you wish. But balance the positives with the revenue-generating negatives. He’s given a platform to many a big bitcoiner. He’s given purpose to a number of talented but overlooked footballers. Yes, he’s promoted some crap that sounded good at the time but hey, we’ve all done that, especially those working in the marketing business. Things often go tits up later. I mean take Twitter. Jack built that. He’s liked but what is Twitter now? Elon was liked by many but now perhaps not so much. I say judge those by their activity, output and their personal
interaction. If Peter is all about self promotion then it will become evidently tiring after a while and perhaps this is where you are with him - also fair enough so just ignore rather than attack - but for me he’s done enough to balance that with genuine questions about bitcoin’s impact and influence as well as publishing personal battles with British banks (I can relate to that!) and even court cases with Faketoshi. If it’s all crap, at least it’s entertaining and I don’t feel the need bring him down for it.
