A lot of folks use the DNS services offered by their domain registrar. And for many people, DNS changes are rarely made once they have things set up.
But if you have a bunch of domains and are constantly moving stuff around, or doing stuff with a bunch of subdomains, or using other tools/services that require many DNS record updates, then having a nice service can make a big difference!
