When i was a kid our family dog was a dachshund and one winter pops bought him paw shoes because it was so bitter cold stepping out in the snow and ice to do his business.

But we had to take them off or watch him do the high step with all fours trying to shake them off with his little legs and pull his little hammy muscles to get out of it.
