I have been using amethyst as my mobile NOSTR client from the beginning. This meant using my security key directly with the client. I was unaware that an app like the ALBY browser extension was available for Android.

Amber is a NOSTR event signer for android. It stores your security key and authenticated your identity when necessary across multiple clients. Those clients never have access to your credentials. This makes your credentials more secure. It's kind of like a password manager.
