Least Bittern walking on the moon, er, mudflats during low tide.
This bird was found in Harlem and taken to the Wild Bird Fund. They treated and released it in Inwood Hill Park in Manhattan last week. Yesterday was the first day birders saw it. This morning it was quite active and bravely visible.
