Turns out the trace ran below C31, which had leaked badly. The trace was just gone. So I ran a small jumper wire to the backside of the power connector. And lo and behold, we now have IC3 waking up! It turns on the LED and even signals low battery! The GG doesn't come on yet, but this is much better than before!
