In the Asterix-album named, in French, 'La Zizanie', a Roman agent walked into that famous, brave little village. He started sweet talking to anyone, spreading rumours and causing problems due to insinuations.

For some reason I am reminded of this with Trump. Insinuations, badmouthing people in an 'inside information manner', and much more.
Sadly, a family member does this too. I recognise this behaviour so well. Lying about others in a 'I know this person, so I know'-tone is so destructive.
