npub1grx4wzqldf8clxusxpz78adjcukkqvdkhf8amsdhr6sy3ctuu2fqvsuxfe (npub1grx…uxfe) anyone who tried building anything publicly got shouted down, afaik the only change is that now anyone can opt-in to be publicly searchable, in their account preferences, and then the normal search gets better results from them, but since it's opt-in, and we don't constantly tell people to enable it, most people probably don't have it active, so the results are still quite limited.

I get what the people asking for opt-in, want, but boy does it make things harder for everyone else…
