As I've been clearing "stuff" out of my basement I've taken the approach of just pitching a lot of it into a skip.

I don't like the idea of adding to the landfill, but sometimes I feel trapped by the objects I've collected and I need to prioritize my own mental health.

I will try to give away some of the things, in hopes people can find a use for them, but the issue is, if they are like me, they'll take a thing and store it for years and not actually put it to use...

And maybe that's okay.
