Yes you can use paid relays on damus! Visit the link in my post and click the “Pay 2 Relay” button to signup for a relay, paste in your noun to be whitelisted and pay the Sats entry fee with Lightning wallet.
Once the payment is accepted you’ll get a green tick and can add the relay to damus. Tap DMs, tap your profile in the upper left then tap Relays. At the top you can add a relay by copy/pasting the relay address (be sure to include wss://) and tapping the Add button.
