"content": "mars volta - _frances the mute_ comes to mind as another good example of locked-groove runout loops\n\nbut i’d mostly feel remiss seeing this conversation and not mentioning rrr-100 and rrr-500 from rrrecords. 100/500 artists respectively creating as many loops on vinyl. essentially random what you’d hear on any given play. not easy listening, but i love these releases because they’re exploiting a uniqueness of the medium.",
