Yes! It is still pretty clunky compared against other messaging platforms, but considering its fully decentralized, it’s worth tolerating the “earlyness” of the software.
I have stood up several rooms and have been using it as a fallback for other group chats. It works quite well, as long as you keep a persistent client running with all your rooms bookmarked on a desktop PC or raspberry pi. If you rely solely on the mobile app it has a difficult time staying synced across only mobile devices with sporadic operation.
