…OK, I made that up, but it can’t be discounted. What’s really happening is that they’re not making enough money.
Before the visit even begins, Gordon is at the family home, where the kids scream for help:

But Gordon is more interested in the restaurant. At one point it seems scripted because he asks them what the problem is and all start talking at once, like a bunch of boors, and he has to ask them to go one at a time. They are kids, though. Jamal is the oldest at 21. Jamal is an arsehole.
