I’ve been having really odd memory problems lately. I’m not able to remember the name for a thing, but I can remember stuff around it. For example: I was trying to think of the name for the brothy Japanese soup. I had to search for “Tonkatsu soup” to remember the it’s called ramen.
Aside from the frustration of not being able to remember things, it’s upsetting not to know the cause. Lack of sleep? Being middle aged? Long COVID?
