When most people understand the origins of money, it becomes easier to earn and accumulate wealth. I’ve been studying finance since 2017—not because of Bitcoin, but out of curiosity. My father used to tell me stories about buying a bowl of noodles for just one baht. I was born on a small, remote island far from modernization. For most of my life, we had access to electricity, but during my kindergarten years, there was none. We called cold water “shock water,” and the entire island had only one TV.

I remember the days when a bowl of noodles with broth cost just two baht, but today, that’s a thing of the past. Why? What happened? These questions lingered in my mind, even though I didn’t graduate with a high level of education. I was simply born curious. Eventually, I came across Bitcoin and discovered that its supply is finite—its numbers cannot be manipulated or faked. It exists in a way that can be verified, though people often dismiss it as intangible.

I argue that, in truth, we don’t physically hold money anymore. We merely transfer numbers back and forth—numbers controlled by centralized authorities. Bitcoin, on the other hand, operates on its own system, where everyone has equal participation. Whenever I upload a video about Bitcoin, people often comment, assuming I’m trying to encourage investment. But in reality, it’s hard to find the right words to explain or convey that the money we hold today is far scarier because it constantly loses value every single day.

We earn money, find jobs, generate income, and save it, but the money itself is inherently devalued over time. I’ve been live streaming for the past seven years, and I’ve thought about stopping. However, I can’t because I have employees who rely on this work. I’ve tried looking for new businesses to transition my team into, but they aren’t skilled in other fields. So, I’ve had to return to this work because it’s the simplest way to generate income through online marketing and save for the future.

Every day before I go live, I talk with my team about how we can ensure our survival until the end. Businesses inevitably collapse at some point, so how can we manage our finances in a way that ensures sustainability? How can we find balance—not to accumulate excessive wealth but to live contentedly? Of course, people can’t be happy all the time. Suffering is what reminds us that happiness exists.
