A friend is down with constant nausea since a week ago. Briefly also slight throat aches but no other cold symptoms. Antigene tests are negative. Could it still be #covid? Do common antigene tests catch all the variants, esp. when there are no respiratory symptoms? Would PCR tests? I'm asking because the nausea is permanent unlike with most gastrointestinal infects.
