Mrs Tek, a doctor, works around someone, not-a-doctor, who often tells her she’s doing things wrong or doesn’t know what she’s doing. The other person has worked with one other doctor, ever, and vastly overestimates their own knowledge on the subject.

This is one of the very few times I’ve encouraged her to “pull rank”, and pull it hard. Toward the polite end of the spectrum: “When you graduate med school, I’ll give a shit what you think about this.” It gets more aggressive from there.
