I also checked all that. Trust me, I really didn't want to return it. I took it as far apart as I could without getting into warranty voiding territory.

It was definitely either the magnet removal or the 24 hour power off that cleared things in the end. I find it hard to believe it was the power off when hour long power offs did nothing previously.

I'm not 100% sure it was the magnet but it's certainly not going back on to test! 😂
