This is always amazing to see. An airliner landing at DFW International this morning, 1/24/24, in dense fog. A CAT IIIB automated ILS landing. Nothing at all visible to the pilots above 100 feet.
Source unknown. It was passed along to me.
I recall a long delay at SFO back in the '70s because the plane I was to board couldn't land due to fog. Times have changed. Love the technology.
