Speaking the RHDN forum thread, there's been confirmation that the current "Apocalypse Gaia" patch does NOT work with Retranslation at the moment, nor has the expanded final boss actually been implemented yet in any capacity beyond how it already was in the base ROM - it's definitely on the "to-do" list, at the very least.
