Without bees and other pollinators, fruit yields would significantly decrease, and some fruits might not develop at all. They are a fascinating and crucial part of our ecosystem.
God has a purpose for everything in creation, including creatures like mice, rats, and even those we might find troublesome, such as ticks, fleas, or mosquitoes. While these may seem like nuisances, their existence is part of a greater design. Sometimes, we struggle to understand why God created certain creatures, but this is often due to the disorder that has entered our world.
When we kill animals—whether for sport or even for food—we disrupt the chain of order that God intended. God did not design us to eat animals, and such actions create disorder. However, as humanity turns back to God, honors Him rightly, and ceases to harm one another, the divine order will be restored. In that time, we will come to understand the purpose of all that God has made.
This is why, in the age of peace, when the Messiah returns, and humanity has stopped killing one another and the animals God created, even natural enemies will live in harmony. As the prophet Isaiah foretold: "The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them."
