I feel the same, I started to study it too, but since my background is in engineering I tend to look toward functionality blended with human centered design, more than just the aesthetic aspect. So, I need to bring more the aesthetics to my soul, then I can have a perfect balance between functionality and beauty.
Are you also thinking to produce some sketches?
