PSA: Don’t take nutrition advice from someone who is not in as good a shape as you are. I stopped listening to fat, unfit doctors 4 years ago. I found an amazing concierge integrative medicine doc who is the picture of health and set me right with diet and supplements. If you are dealing with a chronic illness and your physician pushes prescription drugs before discussing a detailed nutrition plan, fire them.
