He's describing a phenomenon that people have been complaining about for years. Specifically, the idea that any questioning Biden or even asking him to do stuff he promised is criticism and that criticism is unacceptable because he's the only one who can save America from Trump. He isn't the one who came up with the term, and actually resisted it until the past month or so.
It has gotten particularly bad since the debate. If you aren't on Twitter, it may not be obvious but there has been a significant shift in what replies from blue checks dominate the top of every post made by center or left aligned journalists. Even someone like Hassan who is trying to straddle the fence on Palestine is more inundated with Blue MAGA swarms than other groups. It's insane. We're 9 months into this genocide, for the first 8 months people hated him for either defending it or for criticizing it. But over the past month, it has switched to "how dare you criticize Biden? Do you want Trump to win?" as the reason instead of defenses of Zionism for a majority of them.
It really does feel like a personality cult where dissent against the glorious leader isn't tolerated and they are willing to invent increasingly absurd narratives to justify their faith. I have no idea how Biden inspires that kind of devotion.
