Yes, I think that is what drives the compassionate aspect of the demand for the choice.... sadly, we also know that all sorts of explicit & implicit pressure can be experienced by those in late(r) life.
These are not easy issues to resolve, but the more specific cases we know about the more helpful experience can be bought to the debate... thanks for sharing what must have been a fraught experience, even with the Hospice's support
