Along that barrier, we culture a cancer of false ideas that give the illusion of protection, while in actuality, we are shutting ourselves off from greater truth, understanding, and growth. Those false ideas make us feel like we have reached an all-knowing state in that topic, because our barrier becomes so thick and dominant, that it is the only truth we see — obscuring our view of actual truth, and imprisoning us to the limitations of our own finite, faulty reasoning."
