According to my research, feathers and wings are symbolic of enlightenment. The most well known instance of this symbolism comes from Egypt where the soul was weighed against a feather after death, but the symbolism is echoed by the winged serpent Quetzlcoatl/Kukulkan, the concept of dragons with their wings, the Caduceus symbol, the Phoenix, and in raptor bird symbolism found all over the world, often with serpent symbolism.
If you find that type of symbolism interesting, you may find the YouTube video in my NOSTR profile to be interesting, particularly the third/final hour.
