An Upper Hutt mum is still searching for her missing daughter after being out all night in pouring rain.

“I’m still walking the river, over and over,” said Amy Walsh, who is also checking parks in the area that is unfamiliar to her daughter, Maia Johnston.

Walsh said she moved to Totara Park, Upper Hutt in July, and Johnston, 19, is visiting from Hamilton for Christmas.
