I agree with you and I know how they are doing it but if we look from simpler view. Yes Bitcoin has a limited supply and fiat have infinite. If fiat is gone which is probably not gonna happen in our lifetimes then there will be some other medium of exchange. Governments like US will always feel hunger for more this or that so, they'll find other ways to extract what they want and get what they want. That might mean tax their citizens more. Force them to work more for less, properties will be taken from us if we disobey and sold to the highest bidder who can fund their shenanigans.
Anyone in power is always thriving to stay in power with all means necessary. Even if that means stealing our freedom.
That's why I say, they'll always find a way to screw us.
