I've noticed this trend as well the last 15 years or so. Everything is transactional and/or geographical. If the friendship isn't convenient or gives them something, then you are of no use to them. I rarely go out of my way to be an asshole to someone unless they deserve it. Don't start nothing, won't be nothing. It's not a contest to see who's the biggest cunt. 🤷♂️😆
