I hope you realise I'm not being "just asking questions" guy, I'm just looking at the actual evidence. Four things that are actual facts:
1) Lots of people think the red-hand symbol is based on the Ramallah 2000 incident; it seems obvious to them.
2) I can't find a source which is reliable for that belief or has any sound basis in fact.
3) One source put forward as "proof" doesn't even make the claim, simply says it's a possibility.
4) The other source does make that claim, but it also makes other claims which are so wild and outlandish that you don't even believe them yourself.
