However, I do strongly feel that there is something inherent in this song that should be read as a call to dismantle the both the material and philosophical underpinnings of cultural oppression that functions through the normalisation of specific kinds of harm, a kind of body horror that takes a living, feeling being, with senses and intellect all its own, and reforges it, be streaming or compliant, into an insignificant component of the engine of capitalist hegemony.
