If I had to boil my pet hate about social media down into a nutshell, it’s sanctimony.

The high horse crowd. Hall monitors and scolds. People who can’t rein in their snark at others as their sole personality trait and think that makes them cool. The “I have two bits of information about you from Online so I know everything about you” types.

It really makes personal moderation tools essential. And it sure doesn’t make me miss having A Platform the way I once did because it was rampant.
