So, the bad news is my instance has been down for most of today. The good news is that i learned quite a bit today about how to handle SQL databases. Pleroma refused to do the database migrations when updating, complaining about some duplicate column. Pretty straightforward, so i gotta locate the offending column and drop it. Sounds easy and it probably is for someone less green behind their ears. As for me though, i had to learn basic SQL queries from scratch. Spent most of the day doing just that. But who fucking cares, i'm fucking back and the next database woes are sure gonna feeel a lot less scary! 🤯
