the relays do not communicate with each other at all. that's all done by your client. so different experience with different clients is based on the connected relays. it common that clients use a "default stack" of relays, that other clients don't use e.g. i cannot estimate the costs yet, it's running alongside on some of my webservers, but CPU usage is a thing, and storage. storage could make this expensive. i will start purging kind 0 events after some time, and start some kind of registration via website, that would set your pubkey on my whitelist so you can access the relay. i dunno at the moment, it's a playground 😋
