A THOUSAND TIMES THIS. I am also young and disabled and people make the same assumptions. That I am just not trying hard enough or that I'm overexaggerating about my condition. A big part of the problem is people tend to judge disabled people on their best days, when they might seem relatively okay. And thats not fair at all. Those days NEVER last, they sometimes dont even last a whole day. I constantly feel like a burden to those around me and feel pressured to prove my worth
