The “like” button is a shitcoin. It’s an unnecessary hit of dopamine, a fleeting pleasure, the twisted algorithm of the centralized social media. Zaps have meaning, purpose, and are more sincere. ⚡️
I love the idea of completely dropping the “like” button. The “zap” is much more expressive and works better overall. What does a “like” even do anyway? If you wanna share something, share it. If you wanna like something, zap it! ⚡️
