on-chain money storage now only is relevant for 1+ bitcoin stacks because why pay that fee rate when you can LN
bitcoin's relevance will slowly fade because it is only important as securing the base layer, there may be new protocols that solve the source routing problem of lightning, but none present themselves at this point, and ARK may solve bulk instant payments in the future
