I think as long as you aren't a consistent downer with no levity at all, people mostly get away with it.

Somehow here I've gained a reputation for positivity and excitement and I have NO IDEA how it's happened because day to day I am the grumpiest grump. But it must be that I limit how much of that stuff goes online.
