Welp. Just got the notice from job 2 that we are all effectively laid off til further notice “due to cataclysmic property loss in Eaton fire.” They will let us claim unemployment, but we won’t be eligible for benefits for the next 6 to 8 weeks.
Which means I have to find another job and rent money fast.
I’m trying not to just… completely give the fk up.
