I think the original purpose of #Qanon was to misguide and keep under a controlled narrative the researcher community and the conservative audience following the Wikileaks leaks which quick-started the #Pizzagate narrative. Liberals and normies were being gaslighted through the #RussiaGate narrative while conservative were thrown a meatless bone with Qanon. This psyop was so succesfful that its objectives were likely extended to the items you discussed.
