GM! I never thought I'd read a book about Notebooks. Why would that be interesting? Well, Ryan Holiday recommended it and I gave it a try. What can I say... I started this morning, read the introduction and first chapter and I'm hooked. It's well written and fascinatingly interesting.
For example, did you know that the Muslim world thrived because of paper for centuries while Europe fell behind. The clergy there shunned the use of paper because it was deemed impure:
